I used to live on the northern coast of Californa. The Redwoods are awe inspiring and to spend some time in them is so peaceful.

I was thinking about going back this year – in the summer of course. The winter is a soggy mess because of so much rain.

I would love one of those! Also, I would like to fill my trunk with styrofoam peanuts so that if someone drove too close then I could pull the release from inside the dash area. But that is probably illegal. LOL!

That brought back fond memories. My husband and I took that road back in 1999. It was a beautiful drive. So different than the terrain we were used to. Thank you for posting it. We went back to Moab several times over the years before heading north, and always enjoyed our stays.

Thanks. Most of the pictures were taken on September 24th, Karen’s birthday. The dinner was Italian at a restaurant on the main highway. I’m not much for Italian most of the time, but it was good.
