I moved into a New York luxury condo in order to enjoy the beautiful parks in this state. I pay taxes for parks as do millions of other people – so what happened to the money?

Unbelievable!!! Are you serious? The government needs to make major improvements in this economy. Everything we love, all the creative beautiful things we love are being getting rid of, music classes, art classes, and now our parks. So sad…..so sad.

We’ve been in places where we had bad internet — or no internet – several times since we started traveling. Sometimes, it’s very frustrating, but other times, it’s nice, for me, to take a break from “having” to be online.

California State Parks were the first I heard about. Then came Arizona’s and now New York. I predict our national forests are going to be *very* popular this summer.

We like to check out old hotels in national parks. The buildings often are quite interesting, even the old rustic ones. While we normally don’t stay at them, we’ve stayed at two, Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park and Prince of Wales Hotel in Canada’s Waterton Lakes National Park. Of course, now that we have our motor home, it’s less likely we’ll be staying in any other accommodation very often
